What Is ARV?

After-repair value (ARV) is the estimated market value of a property after all planned renovations or repairs have been completed.

Example

A distressed home worth $180,000 as-is might have an ARV of $310,000 once fully renovated to match nearby comparable sales.

Why It Matters

ARV is the key number in fix-and-flip and BRRRR analysis — investors compare it against total project cost to determine potential profit.
